Marjorie Taylor Greene Slams Trump Over Criticism Of GOP Rep.'s Wife: 'Treats Those Who Support Him The Most Like Crap'

Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene slammed President Donald Trump over his criticism of Rep. Thomas Massie's wife on social media.

Trump took aim at both Massie in a post on Truth Social, saying he "became a Liberal because his new wife, blessed be their marriage, is supposedly a Radical Left 'flamethrower'" and supported an electoral contender of his.

He also endorsed a Republican challenger ahead of an upcoming primary, saying Ed Gallrein is a "HIGH QUALITY individual, and there is no Candidate for Congress that could be better."

"He is running because he realizes Thomas Massie has been totally disloyal to the President of the United States, and the Republican Party. He never votes for us, he always goes with the Democrats. Thomas Massie is a Complete and Total Disaster, we must make sure he loses, BIG!," he added.

Greene reacted on X, saying Trump "treats those who support him the most like crap."

"Thomas's wife voted for him 3 times. She's not a 'radical left flamethrower.' And Thomas Massie votes with the President 91% of the time, but won't vote to protect Epstein's sick pedophile and rapists friends or send American's hard earned tax dollars to Israel's wars or any other foreign country," she added.

Greene went on to say that Trump "should be more concerned with voters, who put him in office, like Thomas Massie's wife, not super rich donors and their favorite foreign countries and business demands."

She also sounded a warning about the recent Republican party's defeat in a deep red seat in Texas, where Democrat Taylor Rehmet flipped a district that Trump won by 17 points two years ago.

"Losing elections to Democrats in super red districts, like TX senate, where Trump endorsed, should be sending warning alarms across the President's desk. But instead he's attacking REPUBLICAN Thomas Massie with one of the most conservative voting records in the House and his new wife with a three time MAGA voting record," Greene claimed.

Massie also reacted to the criticism, tying it to his push to see the release of the Epstein files. "Maybe someone told him she's actually the one who suggested I ask Pam Bondi in person at a dinner when we would get Phase 2 of the Epstein files." "Bondi said there were no more files. As they say, the rest is history;" he said.

Massie has repeatedly clashed with Trump over the files, spearheading an initiative to force the Department of Justice to release them. Before the attempt was successful, Massie called on fellow Republicans to break with Trump's reluctance to see their release, saying their decision will have an impact that will last longer than his presidency.
